Jenn was very excited for her last Band/Chorus Concert at Elementary school, very hard to believe!! She and Sarah O. did such a great job performing tonight with their other 6 buddies who were in All-County Chorus this year. They sang 2 of their songs tonight!! The best part of the night of course was going out with all the kids after the concert for icecream!! 
Jenn was very excited for her recital tonight. She and her buddies Sarah and Katie had big plans to wear their new sixth grade promotion dresses tonight but Jenn's Mom (me!!) was the only Mom who thought she should wait until the promotion ceremony!! Or was it that Jenn might spill the ice cream sundae all over her dress?? They all looked darling and sang so well and have so much fun together, a terrific group of kids!!
It was a very fun night at the choir banquet. Here is Sarah with her bestfriend Emily. They will be in showchoir together next year and were in Chorale together this year. The theme for the banquet was the beach since they went to Va. Beach for their trip. They had food catered from Red, Hot and Blue, ice cream sundaes and Julie did the decorations so darling and very beachy!! Sarah got the award in chorale as "most friendliest" in the class. It was a very fun night!!
We had our first swimmeet today. We have had SO much rain all week long and it was cold this morning but the kids were all troopers!! Everyone did fabulous and swam their hearts out. It was such a close meet with both teams ahead at different times during the meet and never by much. We ended up losing by only 10 point which is like one swim race!!! What a close, fun meet!!
