More Christmas 2010

How I love these girls!! We had such a fun Christmas morning!! I was actually the very first one up (some things never change!!) and had showered and everything before the girls even woke up!! We came out and the girls got their stockings and we talked about their gifts to the Savior and then we enjoyed some hot cocoa before heading downstairs to see if Santa had come!! One of the oldest who shall remain nameless had already peaked (umm, Sarah!!) Mom and Dad came over and had a yummy breakfast with us of bubble bread (of course!!), egg casserole and bacon and saw what the girls got!! We chilled and enjoyed our new things for a few hours before heading over to Mom and Dad's for dinner and just a delightful day of chatting and lots of laughs!!

Christmas 2010!!

We had such a great Christmas this year!! It was so nice to have Mom and Dad home with us this year to help celebrate, we missed them so much last year!! I just love the whole month of December, having Christmas music going all the time, all the lights, shopping for the people I love most in the world, baking goodies, spending time with my favorite people and just the feeling of the Christmas season!! It is my most favorite time of the year!! We had a great time at various choir concerts at all the Madrigal performances, going to see the lights at Juniper street, many parties with friends. My favorite day of the year by far is Christmas Eve, everyone is so excited, we all get dressed up, I love our dinner, the family performance this year was the best ever, Abby insisted we do the nativity and I am glad she did, the kids were darling, Dad reading the night before Christmas and all the caroling!! Then we came home to our cozy home to open new PJ's, throw reindeer food, read the scriptures and the Night before Christmas and put out milk and cookies!! Truly the best day of the year!!

Christmas Choir Concert!!!

The Choir Concert was SO wonderful!! I loved all the songs and choirs and especially the Madrigals and the songs they sang!! They performed over 20 times this past month and worked so hard and Sarah loved every minute of it, it was a very busy, but very fun month as a Madrigal :)

A very Merry Christmas Saturday :)

Amy had a very fun time with her friends while I was in New York!! She had her voice recital, went to Cosi's with Mandy and Megan and then explored RTC and then got ready for the Stake dance that night!! She had fun wearing her Christmas socks and dressing festive and first going skating with her friends (well, getting hot cocoa at Panera's!!) A very fun and very Christmas day!!

New York-The Big Apple!!!

What a great weekend we had in New York to celebrate Mom's 75th birthday!! What a treat to be with Mom, Dad, Becky, Julie and Phil!! We had SO many good time and great laughs!! We loved Promises, Promises and especially waiting after to meet the cast!! The looks on Mom's face were priceless. It was worth the wait to meet Kristen Chenowich (the Diva!!) and get her autograph for Sarah!! We loved Molly Shannon the most and Sean Hayes was a doll as well!! Then the "short" walk to Rockefellor center to see the tree, just around the corner, oops, the lights turned off at 11:30, what is with that????
Our walking, eating tour was SO fun, but what really made it was the Santa's, all 400 of them at least!! They were bar hopping, getting more drunk by the hour and ruining all my favorite Christmas carols!!! Then there was our VERY crowded trip to see the tree with the lights on with every other person in New York, to me, worth it, I am not sure our entire group would agree. We truly had a trip of a lifetime and so much fun!!! I love New York, even the cabbies that almost hit me!!
