Halloween 2013

Rachel, Hannah and Abby have gone trick or treating together since they were 4 years old!!  This is probably the last year and they really wanted to look cute!!  They worked very hard on these costumes.  We ordered 2 sets of tutus for them to wear with them which never came!!  Talk about frustrating!!  They were troopers with the shorts and still looked darling!  Such cute friends!!

Sarah and her roommates on Halloween heading to a ward party!!
Amy and her friends on TV at a BYU volleyball game on Halloween!!

Jenn, Caroline and Mary Kate as Where's Waldo at the Stake Dance!!  I was out with my friend and started getting texts from Jenn an hour before the dance with requests for me to find Jenn and Caroline 2 long sleeve red shirts and all three of them harry potter type glasses.  Nothing like last minute!!  Her parents came through for her though :)  Love Jenn!!  Such cute girls!!

A new Madrigal!!

It was so fun seeing Jenn in her first choir concert of the year and as a new member of the Madrigal ensemble and in the show choir!!  I was so proud of her and she did a beautiful job!!  Her audition last Spring for madrigals was just a little stressful.  She had her audition for show choir the week before and got RAVE reviews on it from everyone!!  She should have been so confident going in to the audition for mads which is what she really wanted!!  The night before she started losing her voice and pretty much freaked out BIG TIME!!  We took her in to urgent care where she was told that her vocals were just over worked and she needed to rest them (no help there!!)  She literally could not sing!!  I told her that she needed to pray, she had done everything else she could, I gave her throat coat, honey, herbal tea, throat spray, everything I could find and then we prayed.  Jenn went off to school armed with everything for her throat and a very stressed little girl.  I worked that day but she was never off my mind.  She could not hit a note all day but she prayed before the audition and performed flawlessly!!  As soon as it was over, her voice was gone again.  It was a great faith building experience for Jenn and we were all thrilled when we saw her name under Soprano for Madrigals!!
