Sarah's 3 day Choir trip to Va. Beach!!!

Sarah had SO much fun on her 3 day choir trip to Virginia Beach!! It was so great to have 3 days with her best buds Emily and Christine and they had lots of good times and laughs!! They went on a dinner cruise, had free time at the beach and on the board walk, the choirs performed and Sarah's choir got a superior rating!! They spent the whole day Saturday at Busch Gardens amusement park and had a blast!! They got home around midnight last night and Sarah was up early for Church. Now is the tough part, makeup work, but it is SO worth the good times and great memories!!!

Jenn's All County Chorus Concert!!

Jenn has spent the past 2 days preparing with over 800 other 6th graders in the county for the big concert which was this afternoon!! It is truly amazing how they can get all 800 kids to perform and keep them organized for 2 whole days!! The conductor was fabulous and Jenn just loved the day!! We stopped on the way home at TGI Friday's for her to get some dinner and she was very pleased!! We are very proud of you Jenn!!

Jenn's All County Choral Festival

Jenn if very excited for her upcoming Choral Festival concert this weekend!! She was pleased to be selected as one of the 8 girls representing Armstrong and they have been practicing since January!! Jenn sings the soprano one part and the songs are gorgeous and it so fun to hear her practice. She is excited to miss school tomorrow and get to spend the day with her friends and all the other kids in the county practicing all day tomorrow and Saturday and then performing the concert Saturday afternoon!! I can't wait to hear it!! Jenn also had a blast yesterday spending the day touring Philadelphia with the 6th grade. It poured rain all day but they still had so much fun. I will post pictures of the day later.

Happy Easter!!

We have had a great Easter so far today!! I also added a few more pictures from our egghunt yesterday!! The girls were up bright and early to get to choir practice by 7:45 this morning and were even kind enough to smile for a picture for me looking so gorgeous in their dresses!! I am so lucky to have such beautiful, sweet girls!! It is so nice that they truly understand the meaning on Easter. We all enjoyed Elder Holland's talk so much and have enjoyed the clip of it on LDS.org put to music!! I assigned the girls in my Primary class that they had to watch it this week and we would talk about it next week in class. Jenn has no excuse since I am her teacher!! We are excited to get together later today with the Frederickson's and Becky for dinner and will truly miss Mom and Dad and can't wait to talk to them!!

Easter Egg Hunt!!

Even though we woke up this morning to the power going out and thunder and pouring rain all morning long, we would NOT be stopped from having our Egg hunt!! By 2:00 this afternoon the rain finally stopped and sun even poked out!! It was a touch muddy but we could of cared less. We hid over 200 eggs but as usual the kids were only interested in finding the "special eggs' that had money and extra candy in them, bypassing all other eggs around them, all except for Jenn and Michael who gladly filled their baskets to the rim with all of the eggs passed over by everyone else!! We had to do some serious redistributing of eggs much to the distress of Jenn and michael!! Everyone had a wonderful time even though we really missed Mom and Dad today, it is not the same being at their house without them there!!

It was such a fun birthday celebration for Jacob today and Julie did such a darling job!! All of the kids were so thrilled with the moon bounce and the easter egg hunt and the older girls organized a musical chairs for the kids!! The adults had a fun time chatting and catching up!! Jacob was beyond thrilled!! It was such a fun day for everyone and it was great to spend the day at Mom and Dad's house!!

We loved everything about the Air and Space Museum, especially Abby!! She loves the Solar System and could have spent all day there. We all enjoyed all of the hands on stuff you could do! We then drove over to Union station where we met Becky and she treated us to a very yummy lunch at America. We walked over to her office and enjoyed such a fun tour of the Capital and loved hearing all of her stories and tales she had to share. She has such a fun, fascinating job!!
