Thanksgiving Weekend

I will post pictures to follow but wanted to write about our really fun Thanksgiving weekend while it was fresh in my mind. I have never been the biggest Thanksgiving meal person but I have to admit it is growing on me, and I LOVE the whole weekend, kicking off my FAVORITE season of the year CHRISTMAS!!! I have to admit I had all of my Thanksgiving decorations down and Christmas up even before Thanksgiving arrived, I know very bad!! I just love all the lights of Christmas, it just makes me SO happy!!! We were very glad to get Tom home on Wednesday since he left for Seattle Sunday and got snowed in there and missed his flight and we were worried about him getting home, the makings of a Hallmark movie!! We had a wonderfun Thanksgiving, very fun to have Mom and Dad back home with us this year!! Mom made the best turkey I have ever tasted, 2nd only to how Grandma used to make them where we all should have died she cooked it at such a low temp :) The meat literally fell off the bone this year and you did not even need gravy it was that moist!! Yummy!! Tom, Amy and Abby went over in the morning to the annual ward turkey bowl and had a good time playing football, I think Amy just chatted this year but still had fun!! I always enjoy watching the Macy's parade on TV. We had Jacob up later up in the morning to help us make turkey cookies which turned out to be a MUCH bigger under taking than I had thought, we will not make those again, even though they turned out pretty cute. I will post a picture later. We had a wonderful meal together and then played a very fun game of Bingo with poor Becky calling out the numbers, everyone would get very angry at her when she called a "wrong" number!! We all had a fun time and it was a wonderfun Thanksgiving. We enjoyed reading as a family what we were thankfun for that we wrote down earlier at family night. I have so much to be thankfun for. My top ten:

1. Wonderful husband who is so loving, hard working, kind and very patient
2. The best 4 girls in the world who I adore and who adore each other and are so much fun!!!
3. Truly the best parents in the whole wide world who are amazing examples to me!!
4. Sisters who live close to me who are my best friends, who could ask for more!!
5. In-laws who are so kind and raised the most amazing son!!
6. Christmas, Christmas music, Christmas decorations!!
7. My candles!!! Need I say more!!
8. Fun craft shows!!
9. My testimony of the Gospel, I would be lost without it
10. My brother, his family, my nephews!! I love and adore all of them!! My niece and nephews I love like my own children, they are the best!!
11. Had to add going to see my kids perform be it in a voice recital, choir concert, a play, Cabarat, soccer game, swim meet or basketball game!! I love to see them happy and doing what they love and sharing their talents!!

I could go on and on with what I am thankful for. I am very blessed and thankful to my Heavenly Father for all those wonderful blessings!!
