Abby had a great 10th birthday!! I can't believe she is double digits!! NOT my baby!! Abby took 2 of her best friends Hannah and Coreen to dinner at Tortilla factory and then back to our house for a video, big cookie (Abby does not like cake) and a sleepover!! Who can ask for more fun than that!! Abby had a great birthday with a lunch at Silver Diner, a yummy breakfast with all her favorites and a trip to the mall with the Overton's!! She got lots of money, DSI games, an Ipod player, a shirt for school and a great lamp (2 of them actually) for her room and a great cozy chair for her room, plus a back pack for school!! Abby is such a doll, a very hard worker, great athlete at every sport, SO smart, a great friend, so good with her cousins and my partner in crime. I love having Abby around and love when she goes on errands with me and snuggles with me. I love Abby :)
Sarah did not have the best actual 17th birthday since she was at Girls camp, we tried to make it nice there, BUT she was on an overnight, had to do a 5 mile hike in extreme heat, cook her dinner over the coals at 11 at night and it never got done!! Pretty bad :( One only turns 17 once so that would not do!!! She took 3 of my best buddies, Emily, Kate and Christine to the Melting Pot restaurant for a birthday celebration that is worth my precious Sarah!! The Melting Pot is fabulous and the girls had a blast!!! They came back to our house and had so much fun!! What great friends they are to Sarah. Sarah is just the light of my life, SO good, such a hard worker, so devoted, so loyal, so talented!! It is so nice to see her just blossom and have her confidence grow with each year. She is truly an amazing young woman and I just feel lucky and blessed to know her, let alone be her Mom!!!
