Jenn's Birthday Party!!!

Jenn had a great time at her 12th Birthday party. She has a wild and crazy and LOUD group of friends and they know how to party!!! We took them to the mall for a scavenger hunt and I had made up to lists of items they were to find and had the lists in sealed envelopes which the teams opened at the mall. They had an hour to finish their mission!! They had a lot of fun. They cam back to the house for a taco bar, opened presents and had cake and ice cream and then played rowdy dancing games and outdoor games with flashlights!! They had a blast!! Happy Birthday Jenn!! We had a nice outing to Silver Diner today! All the kids were treated to milkshakes, except Sarah, who opted for a Diet soda! It was a very delicious meal and it was a VERY fun time!!!! It was a very festive Back to School Lunch from Aunt Becky!! Thanks Becky!!!!!

Amy's Birthday: Cake and Dance: FINALLY!!

Amy blew out all her candles in one try!! After cake it was time to get showered and dressed up for the first official Stake Dance!! Amy was SOOOO excited to go!! She had so much fun and loved being a part of all the action. It was a great 14th birthday for our sweet lovable Amy!!

Amy's Birthday/Breakfast Surprise Party!!

Amy was very surprised when her friends Lauren and Aminta came for an early morning wake up call on her birthday!! Her other 2 best friends, Megan and Olivia were out of town yesterday and could not come, the joys of the summer birthday!! The girls also woke up Serene, Rachel and Sarah!! We had a really fun day which started with a yummy breakfast of LOTS of BUBBLE BREAD (a family favorite!!), bacon (Amy's favorite) and a new yummy egg casserole, plus O.J. The girls were all full, but NOT too full to miss out on a trip to Robek's which they took off for in Serene's soon after breakfast!! The girls sang lots of "Let's Sing Disney" on the Wii and lots of guitar hero and we took a late afternoon Taco Bell run for lunch!! Amy was very pleased to get her much desired camera of her OWN (she has broken several so we are hoping this one makes it!!), a new outfit and bag and a darling huge photo poster labeled "Summer 09" with tons of fun photos from her fun summer!! Amy is sure a loved and adored girl and adds so much fun and life to our home and to everyone she is around!!!

Amy's Birthday/Part one!! Sister Sleepover!!

The girls were SO excited for the Sister Sleepover held in celebration of Amy's bit 14th birthday!! Rachel and Serene got to our house around 8:00 at night and the girls immediately took off in Serenes' car to a trip to Target for junk food and chick-filet for more food!! They were quite goofy in Target and I am amazed they did not get kicked out of the store!! Once they were back home there was lots of very loud dancing and singing and dressing up and all kinds of crazy fun!! They had SO much fun, all said it was the FUNNEST sleepover ever!! They really did not sleep though as I woke up at 4 in the morning and suggested that sleep might be a good idea. I knew that more of Amy's friends would be arriving in a mere 4 hours for a surprise breakfast/birthday celebration!!!

All the kids had LOADS of fun at the National Museum of American History, stopping by Dave's office, and eating lunch at Union Station at America!!!! Amy, Ellen, and Julie REALLY enjoyed taking pictures throught the museum, metro rides, etc. These are some of the pictures Amy took throughout the day! THe museum was very cool with everything from flags, to Dorothy's ruby slippers, to aremy food, to violins and cellos!!! It was a very fun museum where for the most part, you could take pictures!!! (Amy was in picture- taking HEAVEN!!!) They then walked awhile to get to America, but decided to make a stop by Dave's office!! Since none of the boys had seen it before!!!!! They were all glad to get some air-conditioning in before finishing the walk to Union Station!!!! Becky treated everyone to a giant lunch at America, where Amy thought the Shirrely Temple they gave her was alcoholic!!!! After a long day of walking and sightseeing, they took a stop to get some Robeks!!!! What a fun treat!!!! Thanks so much Becky and Julie!!!!!
