I was so nervous about spending a week at Girls Camp. I worried about it really for a whole year!! I am SO NOT a camper!! I hate bugs, I don't like to be hot, I like my privacy, I like my own bathroom and I like to get my sleep and did I mention that I DON'T like BUGS!!! There is really not much about camp that is appealing to me, BUT I tried to focus on the things that would be great and there were only a few things: spending time with all of the amazing young woman, spending time with such great leaders and the great Spirit that was there and being with my girls. I was in a cabin with 25 other YCL's and I did not get any sleep at all, there were lots of bugs, I did get a big tick in my head (can we say YUCK!!!!) , there was not hot or even slightly warm water all week, only ice cold, but it was so hot the freezing shower felt good, but I loved being there, I enjoyed every second with the girls. I loved getting to know them better and share their energy and JOY and learn and grow with them. I loved our morning devotionals, our fun and games during the day and our night time devotionals and fun, singing and commercials and testimony meeting. It was a fabulous week!!
