We all had a fun time on our annual Saturday after Thanksgiving trip to get Christmas trees!!! But this year there was a little twist. A lady from Verizon Fios was videotaping us for Channel One's "Average Christmas Tree Cutting" or something like that! It was very fun! We all headed to CiCi's as usual and had a fun time playing games, thanks to Julie and Becky, eating and just talking!!What a fun trip!

The girls and Matthew got to be in the parade at RTC with the rest of the Oklahoma cast and preformed in front of judges and such. They stood around waiting in freezing cold weather with nothing but their Oklahoma t-shirts and and a black shirt underneath, but had a fun time hanging out with friends.

Thanksgiving Dinner!

We had a very nice Thanksgiving at Julie's house. She had everything decorated so nice!! We had the usual fixings and the girls enjoyed making the Pilgrim hat cookies as an added treat since most of the kids are not big pie eaters. They were a big hit, especially with the Carter man!! We missed Mom and Dad today of course but we are so proud of them on their mission and cannot wait for next year when they will be back home with us!! I have so many things I am thankful for this year. I have such a sweet husband, 4 fabulous girls who are so kind and loving and so talented and such hard workers. I am so thankful for all of my family and that they are my best friends in the world!! I am thankful for my testimony of the Gospel and for the chance I have to work with the young women in the Stake, they are so amazing!! I am so thankful for my parents and for the example they are to me and have been to me my whole life!! We had a great Thanksgiving!!
